About:Po Lin Monastery

Hi, I have planning to go to Po Lin Monastery/Tian Tan Buddha in August, 2010. I want to know how to be there from Tsim Sha Tsui and how much fare for entrance fee vegetarian meals. Thanks for the information. Best regards.

You can use mtr first from TST station to Tung Chung station. Get out of exit B and then take New Lantau Island Bus no.23; or walk about 2 minutes to Tung Chung Cable Terminus to take cable to the top. The monastery provides two kinds of meal tickets: Zhenweisu (珍味素)for 60HK$ per head and Guibinzhai (贵宾斋) for 100HK$ per head. Meal time is from 11:30 to 16:30.
