if my friendi are not able to get a train to shanghai, either from hong kong

Question

If my friend and I are not able to get a train to Shanghai, either from Hong Kong or Guangzhou, is there bus service form Hong Kong to Shanghai?  Might there an an over night bus?  Any help you can give would be appreciated.  I have been searching for bus route sites in China.Thanks,David

Firstly, there is no bus service from HK to Shanghai. Sceondly, the distance between them is over 1,200km, not possible to take a bus to finish it.So, you'd better take a flight from HK to Shanghai. If you woule like a cheaper airfare, you may consider taking a flight from Shenzhen to Shanghai. In downtown HK, there is direct coaches driving to Shenzhen Airport.
