About:Xian Train

Are the trains cheaper than flying to Xian from Beijing.
Can you take a night trip from Beijing to Xian.
Are they safe !!

I prefer the night trainf from Beijing to Xian, which only costs CNY400/soft-sleeper or CNY230/hard-sleeper. There are several trains for your choice, please search them on this page: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

we are a family of 6 going from xian to lhasa by train.
Apparently it is not easy to buy tickets for that destination
unles you get on in Beijing.
Has anyone hat any exerienced in that matter ?

Hi thorup, it is true that it is difficult to purchase a train ticket to Lhasa in Xian on the spot. So, I think you should ask an agent for help to book the train ticket.
