About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

lm a student now in china, i came in to china with x visa, the authorities gave me six month resident permit, but now i wanted to extend the permit for another six months , but they gave me an F visa instead, my question is can i use the F visa to apply for uk embassy for two weeks visiting, and also can i still extend my F visa here in china.

Ms.janet, I guess that you can't use the F VISA to apply for Uk visa because you are not long resident in UK. You can still extend your F visa if your study in China is not over.
