About:Who built the Great Wall of China?

hi, was china invaded since the building of the wall? did the wall serve the purpose?

Yes, the wall did not stop the invade of nomadic tribes and in history, it was finally broke by the Man national invaders who was the later founder of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
