Where I can get the better rate of exchange from $ to Chinese?  I mean in USA or in Shanghai upon my arrival there?KK

I think both are ok. If you would like to do so in Shanghai, it is suggested that you change money at these banks, such as Bank of China, which will obey to the intraday exchange rate.
