About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I will be in Shanghai, China when my VISA will expire. Will this present a problem when I return to the U.S.A. 5 days after the VISA has expired?

yes, you will face some problems when you exit China because you have overstayed for 5 days, maybe you will be fined at a rate of 500 RMB a day.
