The passport of our Chinese staff here in UAE will expire on July 2010. What is the duration of Chinese passport before it will renew? two months before it will expire? or one month?

Ms.Clueless, he can renew his Chinese passport now, there is not specified duration before the renewal of Chinese passport. Generally speaking, the renewal of Chinese passport should be applied at least one month before the expiry of Chinese passport because it usually takes 15-30 working days. if he applied too late, he can't obtain his new passport when the present passport has expired.
