About:Getting to Dongguan

Hello,
We want to travel to Donggwan by train from Hong Kong and return by ferry-
Is there a good way to do this, how many hours and what is the cost difference between the two modes of travel?

If you take a train from Hong Kong to Dongguan, the train terminal is located at Changping Town, Dongguan.

However, the ferry from Dongguan to Hong Kong will leave from Humen Port, having a distance from Changping. Its terminal is at HK Airport, not downtown area.
