There are 11 trains from Shanghai to Beijing and among them, 10 trains depart from Shanghai Railway Station. So you can take the train at Shanghai Railway Station. To go to Shanghai Railway Station from Zhongshan South Road, you can take a taxi, public bus or subway. If you can inform your detailed address, I will search the exact bus route.

The price for a bullet train is about CNY460 and CNY550 respectively. The price for a hard sleeper is about CNY330.
