Dear Sir, I am an executive of a private commercial bank in Bangladesh. My bank nominated me to paricipate in the 2nd Annual ACAMS Anti-money laundering & Counter Terrorism financing Conference - Asia Pacific to be held  at JW Marriott Shanghai, PRC  from 26April to 28 April, 2010. The Conference is organized by ACAMS, USA. In this regard I have already enrolled my  name with ACAMS. Now need visa to visit Shanghai. Moreover, I intend to visit Hong kong as I had never been to China and Hongkong. Please let know the procedure to have Visa with out hassle. Mr.Swapan, you need a visa to Shanghai and a visa to Hong Kong, You can apply for Business Visa (F visa) to go to Shanghai, please submit the following documnets to the visa office of Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh: 1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with blank visa pages and copy of the first three pages; 2. TYPED Visa Application Form with one passport photo. 3. Invitation Letter from the ACAMS. 4. Round-trip flight ticket and hotel reservation maybe required by visa officer Applicants who have never been to China before should submit in person.

Mr.Swapan, now I'm afriad that you don't have time to obtain a Hong Kong visa, you have to send your Hong Kong visa application to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong SAR Government, it takes about 4 weeks to get the Hong Kong visa. You will go to Shanghai to attend the conference from 26th April to 28th April.
