About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hi

My girlfriend and I will be in Ho Chi Minh tomorrow and we are hoping to apply for a Chinese visa there and receive it within two working days if possible. We will be in Vietnam for 2 weeks before crossing into China. We have our return flight from Beijing to London booked already - do we need to book anything else (hotels, transport etc.) to show to the embassy or is a return flight ticket sufficient?

Also does anyone know how much an express visa will cost (for British citizens) and can you pay in local currency or is it US dollars only?

Mr.Bennett, you don't need to book anything else, you can submit the following documents to China consulate General in Ho Chi Minh:
1. original passports of you and your girlfriend
2. copy of the data pages of passports of you and your girlfriend
3. each one should fill one Visa Application Form of PRC affixed with one passport photo
4. return flight ticket
5. valid Vietnamese visa or valid entry permit to Vietnam.

The fee for single-entry visa per person is US$ 30, the extra fee for 2 working days processing service is US$ 30, the total fee is US$ 60 per person, the consuate only accepts US dollars for payment.
