Mr.JOY, generally speaking, if you want to apply for China visa in a third country, you should have the work permit or residence permit in the country which allows you live in the country for more than 6 months. Chinese embassy or consulates sometimes refuses to issue visa to applicants who are temporary visitors in the country. Now, you only have the Bangkok Tourist visa, please have a try to apply for Chinese visa by using it. You have need to prepare the following documents:
1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with blank visa pages and copy of the first three pages;
2. Completed Visa Application Form with one passport photo.
3. round-trip flight ticket
4. hotel booking in China
5. copy of your bangkok tourist visa.
