hello everybody =)
pls can replay somebody how to go to changbai mountain from changchun?
how long ang how much is the trip?

You can take train from Changchun to Erdaobaihe Town (二道白河), there are mini-buses to Changbai Mountain.

Ms.Olia,

You may take train from Changchun to Antu(安图). Getting out of the train station, take bus to Erdaobaihe. It takes around 2 hours and costs around CNY24. For train info and ticke fare, please use train search(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/). From Erdaobaihe, you may rent a car to Changbaishan.

Or you can go to Changchun Huanghe Road Bus Station(黄河路汽车站) to take direct bus from Changchun to Erdaobaihe. The bus station is near Changchun Railway Station. The first bus departs around 6:10 and arrives at 13:30. It costs around CNY 100. Another bus departs at 17:00 and costs CNY120.

thx, mr.Danny =) now i have full information how to go there =) one more question, how long from Erdaobaihe to Changbai mountain? also is it enough half day there? and how to go back at night or stay there one night and back next day? =)

Ms.Olia,
Erdaobaihe is about 30 kilometers from the North Slope of Changbai Mountain. It takes around 25 minutes. It costs around CNY 20 for a one-way trip and CNY 40 for round trip.

If you want to go to the West slope of Changbai Mountain, you will spend more time. Erdaobaihe is about 76 kilometers from the West slope.

Here is another option: you may rent a car to take you to the mountain. It costs around CNY 200 for a round trip.

If you want to visit both North and West slopes, better stay there for a night.

Ms.Olia,

You can reach the Heavenly Lake from either North or West slope. It gives you different feelings. Climbing from the West slope is economical. But you may climb from the North slope if you want to visit hot springs and waterfall.

thx, mr.Danny =) so if i will go from North slope, first i will visit hot spring and waterfall and then will reach Heavenly Lake. am I right? =) how long from North slope to Heavenly Lake?

You are right. I am sorry that I have no idea how long from North slope to Heavenly Lake. People usually take tourist bus or jeep-like vehicle to the waterfall. To reach the Heavenly Lake, you might climb 1200-step corridor or take a jeep.
