About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Any ones help is greatly appreciated.

I am a US citizen , I am going to Nanning China to get married in
Oct. of this year. My question is: If I apply for a visa type L (Tourist Visa) right now, am I applying to early on a Multiple entry , 20 day stay for that month?

Mr.AIRWOLF, you should first get Affidavit of Single Status in USA, then you can make registration in China with your Chinese girlfriend, as for the detailed procedures of get Affidavit of Single Status, you can refer to http://houston.china-consulate.org/eng/vp/fhjh/

It is advisable to apply for Chinese visa about one month in advance of the intended date of entry into China. If you apply for visa now and you can't get a multiple entry L visa, you just get a single-entry L visa valid for 3 months, it expires before Oct.
