The First Qinling Mountain Giant Panda Festival will be held on April 1 in Foping County in Shaanxi Province. The festival is a blend of admiring the pandas, exploring the panda’s habitat, ecotourism and sightseeing. A variety of activities will be held, including the opening ceremony, planting bamboos and the temple fairs to mark the 2581th anniversary of the birth of Lao Zi.
