About:Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia

I have been working Saudi Arabia from Nov. 2004 to Nov. 2006. I am now working Australia. I need a police clearance certificate from Saudi Arabia to apply my permanant resident visa. Could anybody please help me and tell me how I can get it as soon as possible. I do appreciate any help from any body.

Getting a police clearance certificate usually requires the following steps:

1- You take your residency application to the Australian Embassy in Saudi Arabia. Upon showing them the residency petition, they issue you a request letter on Embassy's behalf for Police Clearance Certificate.

2- You then take the Police Clearance Request letter to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and get it attested.

3- You then take this attested police clearance request letter to the main police station.
- They take your fingerprints do some paperwork, and give you a date to collect the police clearance certificate.

4- The clearance certificate is in arabic, so you'll need to get it translated from any 'licensed' translator.

So in summary:

1- Australian Embassy for request letter ->
2- Ministry of Foreign Affairs for request letter attestation
3- Police Station for the clearance certificate.
4- Certified translator for english translation.

Hello Wang,

I am not sure how that can be done remotely. You can check with Saudi Embassy in Australia whether sending documents will work.

If I can be of assistance, let me know.
