My family and I plan to visit Kunming from 3 to 6 May. Is the duration is sufficient to visit Lijiang as well?

Only Kunming and Lijiang? It might be possible. It takes 8.5 hours by bus from Kunming to Lijiang, so many time will be spend on the way.
