I have a flight to new york and I am stopping by Shanghai. Do I still need a visa if the flight to NY is on the same day? I have a Philippine passport.

Ms.Mina, if the stopover in Shanghai is less than 24 hours and you don't leave the airport, you don't need a China visa.
