About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi,

My brother, a Canadian citizen, will be visiting Singapore for 2 weeks in May 2010. He will be going on to Hong Kong after leaving Singapore and from Hong Kong he will make 3 separate trips to China (to Jiangmen, Shenzhen and Beijing). Can he apply for a multi-entry visa to China from the China Embassy in Singapore?

Does he also need a visa to visit Hong Kong - he will be there from 12 May to 31 May during which time he will make the 3 trips to China.

He doesn't need a visa to enter Hong Kong because Canadian passport holders can visit Hk for less than 90 days without a visa. He need a multiple entry visa to China for the 3 seperate trips, howeve, I'm afraid that it is a little hard to get the multiple entry visa in Singapore. First, he is temporary visitors to Singapore, second, he doesn't have the certificate to prove that he need the multiple entry visa. The transportation arrangements maybe helpful.
