Mr.Claude R. JAECK, I can't give you exact answer, sometimes, the Chinese visa officer will refuses to issue visa to aliens who are not resident in South Korea, sometimes, the valid visa to Korea or legal entry stampt to korea is ok for your visa application in Korea. Second, it is hard to get a one year multiple entry visa in a third country, do you have visited China for more than 2 times in the past year? IF NOT, it is impossible for you to get the multiple entry visa. Anyhow, please try your luck! if you get it, can you share your experience with me?

Mr.Claude R. JAECK, I think it is easier to get a 1 year multiple entry visa for our French applicants in Paris. The copy of previous Chinese visa in the past years will enhance the chance.
