About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I've lost my china passport, do I need to report to malaysia police first then go to china embassy in KL for replacement? or what is the procedure in malaysia?

yes, you need to report to the Malysian police first, get a Lost Report, then go to Chinese embassy in KL to apply for a new passport or Travel Document of PRC, it will takes a long time to get a new Chinese passport if you lost you old one because the chinese embassy in Kl will check your information from the office which issue your passport.
