About:Lantau Island

Hi,

We are travelling to HK on 20 May - 28 May, 4 adults with 2 small kids. Would like to ask if it's convenient to travel with taxi? Can we all squeeze into 1 taxi or we need 2 taxi?

Btw, is it convenient to travel to Lantau/Tung Chung from Tsim Tsa Tsui, we plan to stay in the Butterfly on Prat hotel.

Pl advice.

Usually, a taxi can accommodate 4 people. If your kids are small, you may squeeze in one taxi. I don’t know if the taxi driver will agree.

You can use mtr from Tsim Sha Tsui to Tung Chung. First take Tsuen Wan Line to Lai King and then exchange Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung MTR Station.

I think you can squeeze into 1 taxi for kids are small. It is covinient to get to Tungchung from Tsim Sha Tsui by mtr. You can take tsuen Wan line from Tsim Sha Tsui station to Lai King then change to Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station. If want to transfer to any places places in lantau Island, you can find city bus around Tung Chung mtr station.
