my friend and I is planing to backpack to guilin on OCT 2010.Is it convenient for tourist doing back-pack traveling?is it safe to travel there as we both are girl?hows the weather in Oct?if i would like to take some day trip, is there any recommendation? what is the price?i'm a photographer, is there any recommendation for nice spot for photo?Thanks

Hi,Ms.ChingGuilin is convenient and safe for tourist doing back-pack traveling.In October,the weather is very hot and may 30-38C.Reed Flute Cave 、Elephant Trunk Hill、Li River and the longji terraced is very famous.Guilin are suitable for taking pictures anywhere.

From Guilin to Yangshuo, please take a coach at Guiling Long-distance Bus Terminal. There are many coaches departing here everyday.To Silver Cave, you could catch a bus in front of the Yangshuo Park to reach the scenic area directly.Then, it is suggestd tha you take a bus back to Guilin and then transfer to a coach to Longsheng at the same bus station.

Hi,Ms.ChingThe bus from Guilin to Yangshuo  is RMB 20 yuan  per person.The bus from Yangshuo to Silver Cave is RMB10 yuan per person.The bus from Guilin to Longsheng is RMB20 yuan per person.Not expensive.Yes.Oct is peak season for Guilin.
