About:Huanglong National Scenic Reserve

How many hours outside Chengdu is Huanglong and the Juizhaigou area?? I'm planning my trip for the first weekend of April--as in tomb sweeping weekend--so I'd like to see those areas possibly but I want to know how many hours outside the city it is--I don't compute KM's in my head into travel time well.

It takes around 10 to 12 hours from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou by bus. If you take a plane, you just need around 45 minutes. Note that you need take bus at Jiuhuang airport to Jiuzhaigou Valley. It takes around 2 hours.

And I suggest you go to Jiuzhaigou Valley first and then go to Huanglong from Jiuzhaigou Valley. It takes about 3 hours from Jiuzhaigou Valley to Huanglong. If you insisit on going to Huanglong from Chengdu, you may go to Chuanzhusi(川主寺) first and then take the bus to Huanglong. But I have no idea how much time you will spend on your way.
