I wanted to visit hong kong from colombo for business matter , then wanted to know if we apply tourist visa from Hong kong can u pls advise what is the web site that we need to go and take visa aplication to apply same from hong kong.

You can visit the official website of Commissioner's Office of Foreign Affairs Ministry of PRC http://www.fmcoprc.gov.hk/eng/zgqz/bgfwxx/default.htm to find the useful information about China visa application. However, I suggest you apply for Chinese visa in Sri Lanka because maybe your application is refused for the coming 2010 Shanghai Expo. If you don't have a Hk Id card, you can't apply for Chinese visa in HK.
