You can take the express way at the Shanghai (Pudong) airport to the Shanghai Gymnasium and then take a taxi (RMB 10) to the Tianlin Hotel.I think it's one of the best ways.

Thankyou for your inputs. Pls let me know what is the express way. Is it the Maglev train or any other train. What will be the routh. how may stations do I need to pass. As I dont know Chinese, I think it will be difficulty for me. Pls provide some more information and clarity. Thanks. awaiting your reply.

Hi, Mr. Nitesh and Ms. Alice, there is no express way from Pudong Airport to Shanghai Gymnasium. If you prefer travel by subway, you can take the Maglev train and get off at the terminal: Longyang Road, transfer to Subway Line 2 and get off at Century Avenue (Shiji Dadao in Chinese), totally 3 stations excluding the Century Avenue Station; then transfer to Subway Line 4 and get off at Shanghai Gymnasium, totally 10 stations. After getting off the subway, you can take a taxi to your destination, within 10 minutes. See the Subway Map of Shanghai here:

However, taking airport shuttle bus at Pudong Airport will be more convenient for you. The shuttle bus line shall be Line 3 or Line 7.

Line 3: Pudong Airport – Galaxy Hotel Shanghai
Departure Time: 07:00-23:00 (Airport Terminal 1); 07:05-23:05 (Airport Terminal 2); with an interval of 15 to 20 minutes
Price: CNY2 to CNY20, depending on your travel distance
Mid-way stops: Longyang Road Subway Station, Dapu Road, Xujiahui
You can get off at Xujiahui and then take a taxi to the hotel which will be less than 10 minutes.

Line 7: Pudong Airport – Shanghai South Railway Station
Departure Time: 07:50-23:00 (Airport Terminal 1); 07:55-23:05 (Airport Terminal 2); with an interval of 30 minutes
Price: flat fare CNY20
There is no mid-way stops.
After you arriving at Shanghai South, you can take a taxi to your hotel, also no more than 10 minutes.
