I will be attending an exchange program at Anhui Chinese Medical Hospital (Anhui Zhong Yi Xue Yuan) in June but I am not sure how to get there from Shanghai. Can you help to advise? I also wish to extend my stay for 1-2 days for leisure but I am not sure how to go to Huangshan. Apart from Huangshan is there anywhere else I can explore? I love scenic areas, and places with great local food where I can also explore your local cultural lifestyle.

The hospital is in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province. The best way to get there is bullet train. Shanghai Railway Station has the bullet trains to Hefei and it only takes 3.5 hours to the city. You can take bus 705 from Hefei airport to the hospital, about 12km. Get off at Feixi Road (肥西路). Well, I think perhaps you should take taxi.
