Mr.Jason,

The best time to see Qiantangjiang Tide is during Chinese Mid Autumn Festival (August 15th according to Chinese lunar calendar). Actually, you can go there on the first day or fifteenth day every month according to Chinese lunar calendar. So you may go there on March 16 or March 30 (February 1st or February 15th according to Chinese lunar calendar).

Dear Andy,

Thank you very much for your reply! However my contact in China just told me that except Mid-Autumn, the rest of the tidal bore is hardly noticable. Is that true? If so, then I will give it a miss.
