About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi, I will have my Certificate of No Marriage and My Birth Certificate authenticated by the chinese embassy here. After that, i will apply for an L Visa. I can use the authenticated documents to prove what my intentions in going to china right so maybe it will be easier to attain one?

Also, do i have to provide Work/Salary requirements?

Mr.jay, I guess that it will be easier to get a Chinese visa if you use the authenticated documents which can prove that the purpose of coming to China for marriage registration.

Hi Mr Kevin. thanks for the reply..i know already the requirements for getting the visa..and also i will submit authenticated documents.

what i am asking is do i need to present also financial documents when i marry in china? getting visa is ok since i have done it a few times already but do they require foreigners in china to submit financial documents before being allowed to marry?

Mr.Jay, you don't need to provide the financial certificate if there are visa stickers on your old or new passport. Passport with stamped visas are not counted. For marriage liense, the financial document is not required.
