About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

do i have to get a multiple entry visa to go from:
vietnam - guangzhou - macau - guangzhou?

so is macau still part of china mainland or is it similar to hongkong, where i would have to get a double entry visa.

Yes, you need multiple entry visa. It is similar to Hong Kog and you have to get double entry visa.
