About:China International Train Schedule

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me with these questions.

I will be traveling around China for a month and would like to take the train K19 from Beijing to Moscow on the Saturday in July. I would like to make a stop for two days in Irkustk which arrives on the third day to see the lake and rest for a while. But, was wondering if there is a connecting train from Irkutsk to Moscow, Russia. And is this trip even possible to do as there is only one weekly train from Beijing to Moscow.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy the ticket(s) and how much the ticket would costs for the soft sleeper / hard sleeper / deluxe sleeper in CNY's?

Is it better to buy it from an agency in China or go to the international train station?

Kind regards,
Marissa

International train tickets are always under great demands and travelers can purchase tickets 40 days in advance. For the connecting train from Irkutsk to Moscow, I think there will be several train available since Irkutsk and Moscow are in the same country, not international trains.

The ticket fare for K19 shall be the sane as the Train K03 on this page. But the information on this website is just for your reference.

Hi Marissa,
Of course there is many train connections between Irkutsk and Moscow. You can check the trains schedule on the official website if you understand some Russian. The only problem could be obtaining a ticket (especially in the season). But it's definitely do-able. Good luck with your trip.
