About:Shopping in Guangzhou

Can you buy individual items from the wholesale markets near the train station? and also, is this where you can buy high quality replica handbags, clothing shoes etc. and are the buildings easy to find? thanks!

Yes, you can usually buy single items at the wholesale markets but the price is higher than wholesale. You can find all those items near the train station, but there are other specialized markets for handbags and shoes. For handbags you should go to Gui hua gang.

Hi,
You should start your search for cloth at bai ma. There are no metro to go to the leather handbag market, you can take a taxi from the train station, it cost around 8rmb. The chinese name of the market is 桂花岗皮具城。 and the shoes market also close to the tain station, for example Bu Yun Tian Di 步云天地。

Thank you Lee May. Can you please tell me which building would be the best near the train station and how do I get to the copy leather handbag and shoe areas of Guangzhou if I was to take the MTR? Thanks again for replying
