Question

We are planning to visit Hong Kong on 15th March'10. Then board a train from Shenzen to Shanghai. Can any one help me out with the train schedule / reservations / price and frequency since i am visiting Hong Kong / China for first time. I am looking out for some economical budget hotel as well. Please advise.

It is not recommendable to take a train from Shenzhen to Shanghai. There is only one train between the two cities: T212, departure time: 13:28; arrival time: 06:58 of the next day. The whole journey takes about 17.5 hours. So I suggest you to take a flight which will only cost you about 2 hours. For the hotel and flight booking, you can also do it on this site.
