i want to travel to quanzhou but debating if i should fly direct into shanghai then take

Question

I want to travel to Quanzhou but debating if I should fly direct into Shanghai then take a train into Quanzhou or if its easier to fly into Hong Kong then take ground transport into Quanzhou.Which is easier and cheaper.is there water transport into Quanzhou from Shanghai.How about nearest town/city to stay in as I want to attend a trade show from mid April for 10days. Thanks

I think you should fly into Shanghai since the transport from Hong Kong to Quanzhou is not very convenient. Well, you could book discount-priced air ticket from USA to Shanghai via airline companies easily. When you arrive at shanghai Pudong Airport, please transfer to a domestic flight Xiamen. The airfare currently is just about CNY400~600/adult. Then, at Xiamen Airport, you could take an intercity coach to get to Quanzhou directly.
