i called china embassy in Ghana sometime ago concerning invitation letter issues,they told me that the invitation letter must be done by chinese local goverment office that they dont accept company invitation letter anymore is it true or not?can you kindly tell me some of the local goverment in china required before they can grant  the letter of invitation to businessmen ?hope to hear from you soon

yes, it is true, namely, you can get the invitation letter from Foreign Affairs Offices and Bureaus of Economy and Commerce of governments, and departments and units recognized by the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
