About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

We intend to tour China end March. Our group consists of 7. We have booked our tour with a Tour Company based in China. 3 who are travelling from Australia have already obtained their Chinese visas. The Chinese embassy in Colombo declined to process the 4 visa application from the Sri lankan travellers and were informed that they require a minimum group of 5 to travel out of Sri Lanka and no individual visa applications are accepted. We are in possession of a letter from the Tour Organizer in confirmation and the airline ticket. Any assistance or advice on how we should proceed would be very much appreciated.

Ms.RPERERA, I have much sympathy for you, I understand your situation, however, the Chinese embassy in Colombo refused to issue individual tourist visa to you. There is nothing can be done. It's true that if you want to get a group tourist visa, there are should be at least 5 members in a group.
