About:China Visa on Arrival

I am changing planes in Guangzhou airport and have a 13 hour layover. Is it possible for me to get a visa for just this one day on arrival. I have both American and French passports. I only want to go into Canton, shop and see a few sights. Many thanks.

Mrs.Estill, you should apply for a transit visa before arrival. It is very hard to get a visa on arrival at Guangzhou except that you are in one of the situation. The single entry transit visa fee for French passport holders are 35Euros, for USA passport holders, it is 130 dollars.
