About:Guilin Travel

I will be in china for the month of May in Sichuan Province, Shanghai and Shenzhen, Hong Kong. I now find I will have about 5 days spare after Shenzhen.
What is the possibility of doing a trip on Li River?
How do I get there and back to Shenzhen/Hong Kong?
Is 5 days enough to do it comfortably?
Should I try to book tour from Shenzhen or do it after arrival?
or should I look at another location for the 5 days?

Thanks for any assistance
regards
Max

Yes, May is fine. Lijiang' dry season has passed. 5 days is enough. Generally, 3 days are enough I think buy you can explore more in 5 days. You can take train (T37, 21:28 from Guilin to Shenzhen at 10:35) from Guilin to Shenzhen and just take mtr from Shenzhen to Kowloon, Hong Kong. If you plan to book a tour, do it earlier. Personally, I like to recommend Dali and Lijiang. Just for your reference.
