My sister is from the UK and has been posted to Jiujiang on a teaching internship. She doesn't speak any Chinese and is on her own so is worried that it will be difficult to make friends. I was wondering if there is any kind of Western / ex pat community in the area, or any english speaking community / social groups? Also, is English spoken much in the city?
