About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi,

I am traveling from Beijing to Paris and Coming back to Beijing on Lufthansa airline. It departs and arrives in Beijing from terminal 3. I want to travel immediately after arriving in Beijing on PK-853 to Lahore and later want to come back to Beijing. Please note that delay at Beijing airport between two flights Paris-Beijing and Beijing-Lahore is around 7 hours. Also there are two separate return tickets; one for Beijing-Paris travel part and other for Beijing-Lahore travel part.

Please note that I may need to get the boarding pass for Beijing-Lahore segment and re-check-in baggage at Beijing airport if Laufthansa airline may not issue me a boarding pass for 2nd ticket (Beijing-Lahore) and may not book my baggage till Lahore at Paris airport. Also note that Laufthansa and PIA are two seperate airlines and are not even partners or under same (star or asia mile) alliance.

Also Keeping in mind, usually counters for issuing boarding passes are outside customs.

In this case my arrival at Beijing airport T3 and departure Bejing airport T2 after getting boarding pass and bag re-check-in will be considered as an entry to China?

Thank you

Mr.Hameed, yes, you need get the bording pass and package, and then re-check in for your flight from Beijing to Lahore, it is not considered as an entry to China.

PS: Aliens may be exempt from going through the procedures for obtaining a transit visa if they hold a through ticket and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport.
