About:Haikou Travel

Is it possible to go by ferry between Haikou - Halong Bay in Vietnam? How about the boarder, price and time?

Yes, it is possible to shuttle between these two place by cruise ship, not regular ferry. As to the price and time, you should go to inquiry at Haikou Port.

Foreigners are not permitted to take the Cruise ship/Ferry to Vietnam / Halong Bay. That is from Beihai as of March 2010. Only Chinese are permitted. I am positive this is the same situation from Haikou.
