About:China Transit Visa

Hello Everyone, i'm a Italian Citizen next week i will travel from Rome to Hong Kong.
I will use Air CHINA company. I will have to switch flight in Beijing.
as i'm italian, i dont need any visa to go Hong Kong, but this time (2 years ago i went to Hong Kong by KLM from Amsterdam directly to Hong Kong) i have to transit for 2 hours at Beijing Airport and i'm not sure if i need any transit Visa type G; as Hong Kong is a S.A.R. of P.R.C. and not another country as can be Japan , Korea etc..
as i read in some website i shouldn't need the VISA , but i want to be sure 100%, before the immigration at beijing aiport reject me!:)
as Mr Norman said, the airport will issue to me a temporary pass. i hope so !!

Mr.Bianchi, you don't need a transit visa (G visa)for 2 hours stopover in Beijing airport, as far as I know, Aliens may be exempt from going through the procedures for obtaining a transit visa if they hold a through ticket and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport.
