About:Xian City Wall

Hello. I am planning to go around the city wall in the evening. I wonder if end Feburary counts as Winter or Spring? How late can I stay at the city wall? Thanks.

When will you go there? I checked its offcial website. It says the South Gate will close at 19:00 from November 1 to February 28. If there are some activities, the opening hours will be adjusted. Currently, the lantern exhibition is held on the city wall. It lasts from Feb. 9 to Mar. 15. You may go to see these beautiful lanterns.

Thanks for your answer, Frank. Speaking of the beautiful lanterns, i am thinking about the Latern Festival. It falls on February 28, doesn't it? How do you say i tour xian city wall on Latern Festival? Thanks again.

Hi,Ms.Susan. It falls on February 28. That is a good time for latern show, but there will be lots of people on that day. Just be alert and enjoy~~

Hi,Ms.Susan.
Did you go to the city wall on Lantern Festival? It was wonderful, wasn't it? One of my friends went to see the lanterns on that day and i just saw photos he took. The fireworks were beautiful and the lights were great. Did you feel the same way?

I did not make it on Lantern Festival as we got other plans. It seems that it was a pity for us not being there. But you know on that day there were lots of people and lots of fireworks in downtown, and we do not like crowds, so we changed our plan. It says that the lantern exhibition lasts to Mar.15, i guess we will find another time for that. Thanks for your sharing!
