About:Chinese Embassy in Belgium

Dear,

I am an Ukrainian passport holder, and i live/work in Brussels for 2 years (have valid Belgian residence card & work permit). I am going for vacation in South East Asia and will need to fly in Hong Kong (spend 4 days in Hong Kong) and come back to fly out of Hong Kong 3 weeks later (2 days in Hong Kong).
I know i need visa, but would you advise - what kind of visa do i need? Are documents different from the ones for Mainland China? What do i need to apply? Is it possible to get 2-entry visa?

Thank you fo ryour help,

Nadya Liubyva

You need a double entry transit visa to enter HK, the documents are a little different from the ones for Mainland China,

Application for Entry for Visit/Transit in Hong Kong (ID 1003A)

The applicant's recent photograph (affixed on page 1 of the application form ID 1003A)

Photocopy of the applicant's travel document containing personal particulars, date of issue, date of expiry and/or details of any re-entry visa held (if applicable)

Photocopy of proof of the applicant's financial standing, e.g. bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc. and proof of employment (if any), e.g. company leave letter, salary slips, etc.

Photocopy of proof of transportation arrangement, e.g. flight itinerary

Photocopy of proof of the proposed visit in the next destination after visiting Hong Kong, itinerary, etc. (for transit only)

Mr Adam,

on the website you mentioned, it says that the application will take normally 4 weeks. Is this also true for applying in Belgium??
I have only 2,5 working weeks left before teh trip..
please advise!

Also - would 4 and 2-day stay in HK consider to be "transit" or "
leisure visit"?

And last question: is the fee is the same as for Chinese visa?

thank you.

Ms.Liubyva, if you apply for HK visa thtough Chinese embassy in Belgium, it takes 4 working days. If you can provide the Photocopy of proof of the proposed visit in the next destination after visiting Hong Kong, such as ticket and visa to the next destination, it is counted as the transit. The fee is not as same as chinese visa.
