There are a large variety of Chinese food to chose for you .you can find any kind of tests including western and eastern foods; I know so many restaurants running by Turk, Arabian ,Uyghur, Hui Muslim ,Thai and Indian people in Guangzhou. You can see the McDonalds and Kentucky everywhere.
In main places, they can speak in English with you, at least many of them can communicate with you .so I think it is unnecessary to worry about it.
