About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi,

I was in China in january, and successfully applied for a VISA which is valid until 7 Apr 2010. Since then, I have returned to Singapore. I intend to travel to China at the start of March, and stay for a month.

In this instance, do I have to apply for another VISA, or is the VISA previously issued to me still valid ?

Thank you for your help.

Mr. Toh, if your visa is multiple entry, you can use it to enter China, however, if it is single entry, you can't use it again because you have used it. Please pay attention to the ENTRIES on your visa, single entry is printed as 01(壹), while double as 02(贰), and multiple as M(多).

Mrs. Betty, I went china embassy this late afternoon before embassy close. The security told me -China doesn't accept the visa on old passport, I need to redo the visa again with SGD150. I find this is not reasonable as other country visa can be transferred over easily.
Can you kindly double check for me? I need to fly on Friday.

Ms. Wong, I check it, the China embassy said that the Chinese visa on old paspsort can't be used, and the transfer of Chinese visa from old passport to new passport is not available by the embassy, you have to apply for a new multiple entry visa by paying 150 Singaporean dollars.
