About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi, we are two Swiss that are now travelling in Southeast Asia and will visit China in June/July 2010. We plan to apply for the multiple entry visa end of February in Bangkok (as we won't come back to BKK). Can we already apply for the visa or what is the earliest you can apply for a visa before entering China? Thanks for your reply! Andy

Mr.Andy, it is a little earlier for you to apply for Chinese visa at the end of February if you go to China in June/July. If you can successfully get a multiple entry visa with 6 or 12 months validity, it is ok for you to apply for it at the end of Feb. However, if you only get a single entry visa with 3 months validity, the visa will expire before you go to China. you'd better apply for it 1 or 2 months before your planned trip to China.
