Mr.sunny banks, I'm not sure that you can get a Chinese Tourist Visa in Hong Kong, I hear that the Chinese visa application in Hong Kong become stricter than before. If you apply for Chinese tourist visa at the Provincial Public Security Bureau in Chengdu, it is likely that you only get a visa valid for a few days, in fact, this kind of visa is issued to you to allow your pack your package and leave China, therefore, I suggest that you can go to HK to have a try to apply for multiple entry visa.
