About:Embassy & Consulates of South Korea in China

I am Sri Lankan passport holder and i have planning to visit china. Mean time have idea to to visit south Korea also. I want to know whether i can apply visa from china or before departure from here am i want to get visa, embassy from here?

Is there sponsor letter required from S.Korea to get visit visa?
Please advice me.

You'd better apply for Korean visa in Sri Lanka, the sponsor letter is not required, (a) Passport valid for at least 6 months. (b) Completed application form. (c) One recent passport-size colour photo. (d) Fee, payable by cash or postal order (but not cheque). (e) Stamped, self-addressed envelope, if applicable. (f) Proof of sufficient funds (a bank statement for 1000 if not working in the UK and a company letter if working in the UK).
